Mobiasbanca becomes official partner of Moldova’s Rugby Federation
 2008-04-10/21:45 Mobiasbanca, the Moldovan branch of the French bank Group Societe Generale, became the official partner of the National Rugby Federation (FNR) on Thursday, April 10, Info-Prim Neo reports.
At a news conference, the chairman of the bank’s board, Jean-Francois Myard, has said his bank is proud and satisfied it has become the official partner of the Moldovan rugby players. Thus Group Societe Generale is developing its 20-year-old tradition of sponsoring France’s national rugby squad, and the national teams of the countries it has offices in, as well as the Rugby World Cup.
Jean-Francois Myard says the bank has offered 25,000 euros this year to the federation to buy sports equipment for all the Moldovan rugby teams.
The federation president Vasile Revenco has assured Mobiasbanca– Group Societe Generale won’t regret it became a partner, because the rugby players have the ambition to get on the first places in European and world championships. The fact that the team is a good one was proved last year when the national got the third in the European championship.
The Moldovan rugby players will play a friendly match with the Belgian national team next Saturday, 12 April, at 15.00, on the Dinamo stadium in Chisinau. The entry is free.
